I’d rather hear what you all think about topic x, even if I do vehemently disagree, than have CNN or Fox News tell me what to think about it. I guess I don’t see how it hurts a forum. It’s buried under Off-Topic. Not that many people travel here and if you know you’re easily offended you don’t have to click into it. How about a political section on its own that people know to steer clear of.
Plus let’s be honest internet shouting matches are kind of fun, pointless, but fun.
