Over all, I am very happy with this mod! The sound quality is 5x better than the factory stereo, and I love the Aux input capability! There is no noise present at all on the Aux input; with the truck running, I can pause the MP3 player while it is plugged in to the truck’s 12vdc for power, and there is no sign of alternator noise. I did the mod over the course of a couple of days – an evening for the Aux input cable, and part of the day for the install. I would say it took me about 4-5 hours total, including time out to take pics.
