I took the amp out, and left it out. No reason to tote it around everywhere I go if it is not being used. I might use the new real estate to mount a remote CB.
So far, I'm pretty happy with the new stereo. My wife even notices the better sound quality, so I know it is a significant difference.
I am still on the fence on whether or not to change the color of one of the displays to make the two match.
