Bought my 4runner while deployed after my car got totaled. I bought it online through ebay and had it shipped out.
It had 104k miles and cost me 15k with the shipping.
I quickly did a lift, wheels and tires.
Bilstein 5100s, Moog FJ springs and spacer up front, Icon 2.0 rears, SPC UCA
17" Tuff T01 wheels with 1.25 spacers, BFGoodrich 275/70
I also did Metaltech extended rear brake lines, as well as changing the other rubber lines to braided ones all around. Due to the lift I installed 3rd gen rear sway endlinks with energy suspension bushings, I also installed the ES front sway bushings.
Diff drop and front sway drop adapters.
New brakes all the way around to include Disk, Calipers, Pads.
Weathertech floor matts.
Coverking Neosupreme seat covers
Pioneer head unit, component fronts, 6.5 rears, all powered by a 4 channel amp under the driver seat. I installed a powered Pioneer amp/sub under the passenger seat.
Burtman set me up with the new Gibson dual side exit catback.
I switched to a AFE magnum intake.
I then bought a Bajarack.
Within my first 15k miles I did all of my servicing. Plugs, Trans fluid, front & rear end fluids as well as dif., coolant.
Since I would be towing a travel trailer I also did a aux trans cooler.
I put 40k on it in 2 years in this configuration. I had to change the front wheel bearings and a seal in the rear axle during this time.
