Im late to the party, but if anyone has done this... a few questions.

1. Did you have the system drained before removing this?
2. Did you replace the seals/rings?
3. Which brand did you buy, Denso?
4. Did it help after the freon refill?

I have a pretty clear leak and seeing it light up with the dye they placed last year near the driver side ac hose where it meets the condenser. Also a darker "oil spot" on the condenser.
