Best plan, don't drill. The whole idea of drilling is silly for anyone who has any understanding of economics as I pointed out previously. Find me a reputable economist saying that drilling will have any effect on our oil prices.

It pisses me off that the Democrats caved in on this issue recently when they had a good footing to stand on based on facts, yet they gave up because dumb people were too lazy to do the research and math. Hell, even BP and many huge oil executives have said it's a waste of time. I tend to believe them more than Republican sheep (or Democrate sheep for that matter) looking for votes.

The politicians bet on the stupidity of voters to eat up the "let's drill" argument. They bet correctly, despite the facts pointing otherwise.
