have a picture some where but I 'm too lazy.
I take products under test up to ~120 pounds for work in the back of my 4Runner, the sliding rear shelf matches up pretty good with a Rubbermaid plastic cart. Plastic so it doesn't scratch the paint. I suppose a Highlander or RAV4 could take its place, but dang is that convenient. Just like any sort of truck, you need to push the load as far up as you can go, in case you have to slam on the brakes, and then don't gun it so it doesn't slide back. Could use the tie downs too, but I'm too lazy. The place we go is $1500/day, effing around is not in my book.
