I did ceramic on my lunar rock, and its been great (2 months since I picked it up).

I have had PPF on my last 6 cars, but decided against it on this one when taking delivery, and had ceramic done instead by a very reputable local shop that I've always used for detailing.

It did not make sense to worry about rock chips from highway miles, when the vehicle will likely get pin striped on trails.
