Absolutely worth it for the PPF. I got my Lunar Rock Pro a few weeks ago and immediately got full PPF and NO ceramic coat.

I took it on trails and the paint was protected when I was scraping the sides of my brand new truck against trees. That alone was worth the $5k cost. Came out of the trail with the paint perfectly in tact and the PPF is self healing.

The thing shops won't tell you is that ceramic coating is easy to apply, relatively cheap, and not that time consuming. The difficult, expensive, and time consuming part is paint correcting the car. However, on a brand new truck you shouldn't have to do any paint correction. You can buy enough ceramic coat to do the whole truck for like $100 and do it yourself in a day or two.

The full PPF though, very much recommended if you're driving off road, highway, etc. It will keep you protected from scrapes, rock chips etc. I would remove the factory stuff and apply XPEL or STEK instead as it's likely higher quality than the factory stuff and comes with a solid warranty.
