I'm guessing the price will go up about $3000-$4000 on average. What do you guys think about the reliability factor? I'm trying to decide between a 22 4runner and a 22 Tundra which is the latest and greatest. Possibly holding out for a 6th gen but I am as conservative as they come and value reliability first. I would love to have a 10 speed auto with almost 500 pounds of torque but even Toyota makes me pucker a bit when I start thinking about the long term ownership of a turbo charged engine. I would like to put 300,000 miles on the vehicle, some towing but mostly easy driving.
Perhaps a 22 4runner and if the 6th gen runner or 3rd gen tundra are as reliable then switch out in 5 years.
