Best thing I can tell you is either get one of the ready-made cables (see my last post a few above this one) from somewhere like ebay, or use a different head unit that has native capability or an aux input built in.
Really, making the cable is the easy part imho.
PS - BOTH cables are currently available on ebay from billc41. The Aux cable you would want is $30 Buy-it-now.
