Sunroof Problem

My 2007 SE sunroof went off track no longer operational. I had the motor removed and squared up. Was hoping just to close it and not use maybe seal the thing. After 175K miles going to the arctic the thing just wore out.

Problem is it would not relax to close and is stuck in the vent with rear up position. max force is needed to close it. I want to take it to a sunroof expert and see if they can easily release it into the down position and seal it.

What you think ??
