This is just an FYI, there's a mechanical engineer that goes by the nickname of 540 RAT that started ranking/testing motor oils back in 2013 or so and has continued to update the testing/info, last update was 12/24, he has no agenda, is not employed by any oil companies and doesn't receive any money for his testing.

He has a blog with all of the info on the testing, readers comments etc. if you choose to read it all....that being said the motor oil that holds his highest test results to date is 5W30 Quaker State Full Synthetic, it's what I been using in my 4th Gen V8 since I bought it in 2016 and read his blog.

Here's a link to his blog, warning you really have to enjoy reading, it's a lot of info!!

You can use the search function on his blog by pressing f3 or crl f to get a popup window to type in a key word/s which will highlight those word/s throughout his blog to help you find them easier.
