Yeah I'm not sure what year they switched over but the newer lines were aluminum.

I put 315/75-16s on the truck.
Pretty pleased so far. It has spacers on the stock front shocks, whi CNN have the bushing completely blown out of. So it should quit rubbing when I get my 5100s installed

My mom was driving hers and ran out of coolant and overheated.
On mine that I bought a couple years ago, I was picking at rust underneath in the garage and that line drained all my coolant when a rust flake came off. Whew. Lucky that happened in the garage and not while driving or I would have overheated my 4runner too.

I used to like my rigs high but nowadays i keep them low and close to stock. They ride better and have less issues.
Today my passenger caliper seized up. I knew it when I felt the pull and saw the blue smoke. Wheel was HOT.
Luckily I got 25% off a caliper at Advance and swapped it in no time. I could not get the drivers side bleeder screw loose to bleed so I left it. Brakes much better and I will be swapping out the drivers side this weekend.
