Devbot: Shit's armored to the teeth. All steel? Gotta be heavy, what's your suspension set up?
Not that heavy and purposefully built (I hope), U have to take into consideration that I have removed all the OEM cross members and my engine in stock config puts out 280hp 338ft/lb stock... and ill be turning it up a bit more.
once my kings get here and I can start working out a basic design Ill post a pic of the suspension
The window deletes do not weigh anymore then the windows they replace.
bad luck: That's a creative solution. Looks awesome! What's going on with the roof of your runner? You eliminated the rear side windows too right? Stop making us beg and start a build thread for this beast already!
Yes I eliminated the quarter windows, there's a pic further back in the thread somewhere. I redesigned the roof mount points to tie into the structure of the body and put the weight into said instead of just the roof sheet metal and decided to add raised mount points on the roof to help keep out water and make designing and building the roof rack easier. I'm severely dyslexic so answering even these simply questions takes me a long time, so do not think a build thread would work out.
Endlessblockades: Can we see a full shot when it's done? Looks like you did a window-delete.
Still trying to work out the axle outers, so I do not know what lug pattern I'm going with so I can't finish the mount, once I figure out said I'll post a full shot.

Hell yeah, gonna be a pretty badass rig. That's kind of along the lines of what I would do if I had another vehicle, and the space.. and time..
What's under the hood, UZ swap?

Oh very funny, a 2J swapped 4Runner has always been my dream - though I would supercharge it, since nobody ever seems to throw a procharger or blower on them.
Be sure to upload many pics when it's finished! GTEs seem to have become very scarce, back a few years ago my buddy got one in a crate for <$2000, but that doesn't seem like the case anymore

OK, you definitely need a build thread for this apocalypse vehicle you're building.

Installed the Addicted Offroad front bumper:
Also replaced the original vent with the '01-02 version with an intact vent flap and a provision for a harness pass-through if I ever need one (I just taped it up for now) (PN 62940-35020):

That bumper looks so good!
I have my bumper off at the moment and was deciding what to do about my broken pressure vent as well. I was going to fab a workaround, but having a new one with that pass-through is worth spending the money to me. On my parts site I'm showing the same part number for all of the years. What part number was the one with the pass-through?

Sorry, should have included it (edited the post to add) - the P/N is 62940-35020: 2001-2002 Toyota 4Runner Pressure Vent 62940-35020 | OEM Parts

Tried my hand at fabwork... just got a flux core welder for messing around with earlier this year so made my first big project, a bumper (kinda hard to see since it's black). don't love how it turned out but it's a starting place! gotta figure out how to add some quarter panel protection eventually.

WANT. Where'd you get that? That's one of the things on my list, and I didn't expect that it would only be $140!
