Any info on this OEM rear window wind deflector? possibly Canadian only?

So the new truck i bought doesn't have a deflector and i think it looks funny with out it and after looking at all of the replacements i can't seem to find my old one anywhere, it was on the truck when we bought it back in 2000 and has OEM markings on it, i also stopped by the local dealership and had them pull up what they carried and none of them matched this one, but then again their computers can't pull up my vin either because it was a Canadian import, so i'm thinking this may have been a canadian only option or something, anyways here's some pics.

it's basically the same as the ones we all know and love but is made from a smoked/clear plastic and is see through.

if you guys got any ideas or leads let me know , i really liked this one alot, it matched the ventshades/rain guards and front bug deflector perfectly

Yeah, that's identical to my spoiler, and most of the ones I see around here. It was on it when I got it in '03. Most likely they were installed at the port or by the dealer. I'll keep an eye out for you. If you find one up here, I could bring it down to you. Say, meet at the Outlets or something, I go down to Seattle fairly regularly.

Or 10

Mine never came w/a spoiler, or any indication that one had ever been on it, and I kind of prefer it w/o, just because I don't like the black metal option, but this looks pretty good. I'd definately consider rocking that.

My first 4runner was from Canada too and it didn't come with a rear spoiler either. That one you posted pics of I have never seen before but I really like it. Let us know if you find out the part #

Ive seen one of those for sale on a website for our 3rd gens once. It was very similar. It was bigger that the stock spoiler, and was transparent. I think it was listed for 115. But . . . I dont remember the website

Theres this one. Not identical but similar

GTS - Aerowing - 1999 Toyota 4Runner Rear Deflector - GTS GTS-56870

Edit:

Heres one for a 4th gen. Ive always wondered if you could take a 4th gen spoiler and modify it to fit a 3rd gen. For the price this would totally be worth it

Spoiler Express :: Toyota 4 Runner Factory Style Spoiler 2003-2009 $59.00

Sweet looking spoiler but are you sure its actually OEM and not an aftermarket part? What I noticed is that every OEM part that I have purchase in regards to OEM deflectors has some sort of "TOYOTA" branding embossed or etched into it. My front OEM bug deflector and OEM sunroof deflector (see below) are all genuine and have the "TOYOTA" embossed or etched on them in small letters.

update: I reread the OP's description mentioning the part has OEM markings. I totally overlook that , my bad. Must be a rare Toyota part then, very cool.

OEM Hood bug shield deflector

OEM Sunroof shield deflector

Update:

Ok, so good news and bad news.

The good news is that I dug up a dealer invoice from the previous owner of my '99. He had all the spoilers/visors except for the moon roof installed in 2000.

Spoiler, Rear C0661-89960 $84.00

The bad news is that Mr. Google can't find it.

Really the only purpose of the spoiler is to cut down on turbulent air keeping your rear hatch cleaner
