Signs of the milkshake?

So I'm currently at work (graveyard) and I went to get something out of my runner and I notice fluid leaking, I got my flashlight and look where it was leaking. It's a hose that connect the radiator to the tranny . I touched the fluid and smelled like trans fluid, I open my hood and my coolen is out. I haven't started up my runner yet, but does this mean I have the milkshake? Oh I also tried tightening the cable to see if it stop the leak and it came off and more spillage. The cable I'm referring to is the on the the bottom right passenger side of the radiator closest to the skid plare

First of all its a hose, not a cable.
Second, a leaky hose may be nothing more than a leaky hose.
Pull the trans dipstick and take a look at it. Wouldn't hurt to check engine oil too.
 
Also if you are out of coolant, I would suspect that you have a coolant leak, I'd it was trans fluid leaking that bad I would think you would start noticing it slipping...
 
My trans fluid and my coolent were both leaking, but it could just be a "leaky hose" like fourwd said and just i'm thinking over thinking it. oh well if i do get the milkshake here come my 5-speed conversion. update just researched and it was my tranny cooler line that was leaking.
