Is this a good deal on a 4Runner?

Hey guys, new to the forum here, I've been looking for a 4Runner for awhile and I think I've found the one. I can't tell if it's a good deal and I figured you guys on this forum would be able to help me out. Hopefully this is the right section. Below is the add. Let me know what you think!

This awesome vehicle is a one owner between father and son and everything both electrical and mechanical works as if it's new, and still has enough power to keep up with newer SUV's both on and off the road. I am regrettably selling this vehicle because I now need a pickup truck to haul large items for work.

Yeah if you have the cash and it's what you're looking for I'd be all over it.

Anything I should look for or at in particular when I go take a look at it?

Sounds and looks like a good deal. If its rust free, all the body lines match up, all fluids look good with no bad leaks, I would jump on it.

Also, obviously test drive it. Check for any transmission slip or any strange noises. I like to let go of the steering wheel and see if it pulls hard to any side. Check to see if any color smoke is coming out of the tail pipe.

It sounds like a very good deal. I would get more info on maintenance info ie: timing belt, wp, trans flush,and etc.

Go test drive it and see if you like it. I like to let go of the wheel, accelerate and brake hard, and see if it pulls either way. Check the fluids for bad color/smell. Mainly, whether you like it or not.

The side mirrors are two different colors. Something happened to the passenger side.

Take this advice - If you find a deal like this. "keep it quiet". I wouldn't advertise on here because someone is going to snatch it right from under your nose in a split second. If I lived a bit closer it would have been sold to me already.

Not a bad deal if its clean. Can't tell but looks like the hood is faded but could be the reflection. I think his HP estimate is a bit high too unless its tuned and has other fuel mods.

Inquire about how many miles are on the S/C too. Could be rebuild time, something to factor in to your offer.

So talking with the owner it sounds like this is a great rig. It does have fading on the hood, and the passenger mirror was broken off by a moose and it also dented the rear near the taillight slightly.

You think the $6500 is still fair? He seems pretty firm, but with the faded hood and dent on the tail $6500 seems steep.

That's like a 4,000 4runnr with 2,500 worth of goodies attached to it.

Offer $6K cash and you'll own that runner. From the ad it seems like it was taken care of, and relatively low miles. Seems like a decent deal, depending on where you live.

6,500 is not bad but 6k would be better. If anything meet him in the middle and shake on that one. The supercharger might need to be rebuilt like said above so make sure you know how many miles are on it. Other than that it looks clean. I just got another one for a friend same year for 5k pretty much so it is about right.
