Wow, the truck looks amazing! I really like the roof rack you have on there, I wish I could or knew people who could build stuff like that. I've got a quick question, what color are your TRD decals on the sides?
I've got a black 3rd gen as well and I'm trying to figure out what color I want to get those decals in.

On your retro fit headlights does the guy you bought from make them or did you buy his used pair? Thanks!

thanks man! My decals are just silver, got them off ebay for around $20 I believe. it took me forever to decide what colors as well, but since my skids and coils were silver, I figured I'd keep that color scheme going.

thanks man! I'm pleased with how the black out look is going so far. As far as no fun work (maintenance) I need to get new valve covers on. but as far as mods, I'm saving up for an ARB front bumper, hopefully after tax return time I'll have one on there. I "should" be finished after that, but how many times have we all said that? lol

he made them. he used aftermarket headlights (still glass though) and an offbrand projector. One projector is now stuck on bright, so I gotta get in there and put a new one in. Although I saved money, now I'm having to redo it, so I'd stick with the Retro fit source if I was going to do it again

That's what I thought, it was just a little hard to tell. I was thinking of going with either silver or gray on mine like yours. Mine has the OEM pinstriping decal things that run along the body lines and they're gold so hopefully it won't look funny. I would take them off, but I'm afraid to damage the paint underneath. Thanks for letting me know!

i wouldn't take them off if I was you. I work as a detailer at a car dealership and we have customers who ask us to take their pinstripes off all the time, even on 10+ year old cars. we do as they ask, but yes it ends up looking like crap and ruining the paint.

That's what I figured. I'm gonna leave them on because I don't want to risk messing up the paint under or around them. Worst case if I don't like the TRD decals with the pin striping I'll just pull the TRD decals off and I'm only out $10-20 at worst.

Since the weather has been getting nicer in St. Louis I've done a few things to it
-blacked out my grill in preparation for an ARB front bumper
-added by awning to the roof rack
-installed the 10" and 6" lights on the front and back of the rack

Nice tailpipe...
I'm with you on the awning- yours came out great!
IIRC and unless things have since changed, the Arb front bumper works well with the Limited flares because of their width. Will your thinner flares work as well (or better!) or will you be modifying the bumper or???
That thing just gets better and better.
