i will keep that in mind, the logistics is what i'd be worried about. I found one in Green Bay and was going to run up and get that tonight. Only an hour away. Thanks for the offer though. BTW when they say with ADD or W/O ADD what does that mean???? Anybody? Sorry not really a motor head guy.

I was, until I destroyed my rear pinion, which led to the ARB failing.

Come tax time, or as soon as i get the money, which ever comes first, I will be locked front and rear again.

Automatic Disconnecting Differential. Basically, it's the alternative to having manual locking hubs (where you have to get out of the vehicle to lock/unlock by hand), because the A.D.D. system uses live hubs that are always locked.

Thanks to all you for your help, got the front diff put in last friday. Found a diff up in Green Bay for $125 and about 3 1/2 hours later we had it in. Had to jack up the transfercase a tad in order to pull it out but mad it a lot easier. Its back on the road looking to hit 300k. next up want to put in new timing belt and H2O pump. Anybody have any good Kits to recomend for this? Appreciate the help

Homer

I see you already have this swapped and figured out but you can also physically count the teeth on the ring gear now that you have it pulled out. You just need to crack the case on the front diff. Might also be a good learning experience.

Yeah, I'm glad you got this done correctly, because it's hard to believe that people still think you cat determine your ratio by the axle code... This has been debunked about a million times...

E-locked auto is usually 4.3 (or maybe it was auto with larger tires?), manual with larger tires usually had the 4.56, and everything else had 4.10. That may not be the actual rule, but from what people here have said, that seems to be the general rule.
