Ahh I see. Thats awesome that you got to travel a lot, I havent traveled much and majority of the time that I did travel, was for sports, which sucked cause I could never really venture out and explore the area. Good that you come back often! LMK when you do, first thing we gotta do is hook you up with a poke bowl! lol

Whatsup busmup!
Haha, well it isnt nice climate at the moment, current cold front just stalled out over the entire state. You should make a build thread on your runner bro, I wouldnt mind seeing the scenery, I'm always a sucker for expedition pics.
LOL, I was also glad it came lifted, but had to redo the entire rear lift cause 891s no longer provided any lift and the runner became saggy diaper, which you know, is a no-go. Hahaha.
LMK if you ever stop back on the BI! Aloha!

Found a before pic - this is what she looked like when I first bought it - and what she looks like now 11 months into the build.

I also plan on painting, or plasti-dipping that weird looking green chrome piece on my front bumper. Small touches for now, until I decide what I really want to do about my front end. (Front bumper, limit straps, manual locking hubs, or save for SAS w/ coilovers).

Did a wiring job for a friend, and in return got paid in gum. Ha! Just kidding, he gave me free spidertrax wheel spacers!

I tried them on and......

Issues...

Good thing it was for free, and good thing it happened now, cause 35s are planned as soon as these 33's wear out.

On a side not, probably gonna order my limiting straps either this or next week. I believe @Dirtco had measurements of 10" for them, so I'm gonna double check on the list of parts to buy, double check measurements, and go for it.

Rig looks great! Love the way the rear bumper looks on their as well. Also dig the wheels. They look very similar to the wheels I had on my old Taco. Gives me a good idea what they would have looked like on my Runner.

Well, under a little liquid courage, I decided to pull the trigger on ordering my matching spare tire rim. I should've actually spent the money on front limiting straps, especially since Ulua fishing season is about to start, and I'll actually be using the 4runner almost every weekend then...but ah, oh well, LOL!

And I decided to stick with IFS and build the heck out of the front end. I told myself, that day I'm ready for SAS, is the day I dont give a hoopblah about body damage.

A few things have changed since the last update...I've been really busy with trying to get a career moving for me since I graduated this past fall. However, I still found time to get things done.

List of updates:
- Chopped and rewelded sliders to address the rubbing issue (pics posted above and kept the wheel spacers)
- CV boot slide mod (I'm thinking about doing a writeup...possibly tonight)
- Matching rear rim
- New Fierce Attitude M/T for spare
- Just picked up Tundra Calipers for 80 bucks (have yet to install)
- Manual locking hubs (still debating to install or not...I may just sell it and buy limiting straps..)
- New upper ball joints (both sides) and Drive inner TRE

Also, finally went camping this past weekend. Havent gone since November! It was a good way to get away and just, relax. Had my GoPro attached to the side so I'm working on the video now since I'm off tomorrow. Pics and video will be up later.

BTW, anyone know if I could change the title of this thread? After really thinking about it, I don't think its appropriate to call it a build thread since I'm not doing anything quite severe....maybe, Expedition thread?

Stay tuned, going thru pics and video now.
