How in the hell do you get this off?

So I'm attempting to do the steering rack guides and can not for the life of me get the old one off.

I know there is a lock nut that's like a 2 3/8 size that I just can't break loose.

Any thoughts?

Its a pain ...pull the swaybar. U can leave the end links attached and remove two frame mounting points where the bushings are and let it hang down. Get proper size socket and big breaker bar and push with foot. Worked for me anyhow.

Thanks guys! Got it!
Sway bar links are already pulled off and sway bar rotates with ease once I took the straps off holding it up and out of the way.

Went to the farm store for a bigger socket. I used a 1 3/16ths. With my cheered bar it broke right off and I was on to the install.

Tweeting the new tightness and steering is up to you and kinda hard to dial in. The bump went away from the rack making tons of noise while hitting bumps.

To tighten the new cap I uses a bolt with 2 nuts on it and then a wrench to tighten against it and snug it all up.

New axles are next. New one in and reboot the olds.
