So I Have this weird noise coming from behind my dash. It sounds like it's coming from behind the head unit. It sounds like an old tape deck trying to rewind a tape, and get's louder as I speed up. I mostly notice it at speeds above 40MPH. The weird thing is, if I pump my brakes it seems to go away for a second, then return. Any ideas what it might be? The noise isn't terribly annoying, but if it's something thats going to lead to bigger problems I'd like to get it fixed ASAP.

Also, I took a look under the hood after a drive the other day, and this black box seemed to be making a strange clicking sound, almost like there was a small leak in it. Could they be related? As always, thank you guys in advance for your help!
