That flat belly idea sounds pretty crazy. I was looking at a 1.5"/2.5" Daystar spacer lift. How do you feel about those? Found a site that has them for $130 which is about all my budget allows.
Wait and pick up a set of 99 springs. Better ride, better for the truck, and it won't prematurely sag your springs. I got my springs used for 120 and it was 30 bucks for shipping.

Okay thanks. I'll keep my eyes open. So 99 springs for the front? fj80 7 wrap for the rear?
That will give you a bunch of lift in the rear. Probably 3" and the front will probably be 1.5" so you will have a bit of a rake to the suspension however the fj80 springs are soft.

Remember tho ride will suck unless you get better shocks and then also with that much lift things are more stretched so hoses and stuff become more of a risk
Installed this bad boy, along with some hydraulic steering pump fluid! Don't here the intake much under 3k RPM's, but I feel a little torque increase when you give it 80% throttle and go over 3500 RPM's along with a pretty nice sound.
Has a AEM DRY air filter on it.
Will be purchasing a few new items in the upcoming weeks and will be sure to post some more pictures
-New steering rack (current one is leaking)
-New mini headers (current one is cracked)
-Clutch cylinders (need to be replaced)
Looks good buddy, mine is down for the count at the moment. I am getting a remaned engine put in along with new clutch etc. should be like a new truck once I am done!

Nice runner. Do not put LC coils in it. You'll end up a horrible 70's style rake to it.
Thinking about purchasing a 1" Daystar leveling kit for the front and just leaving the back for now. It's a DD and I don't do any offroading at the moment so no real need to go crazy with lift. Also $$ is tight with college coming up next year.
First off I repainted my antenna black as it started turning bronze on me.
My dad's friend owns this clothing line so I through some of his stickers on either side. Love the look!
Next I plasti dipped the 4 Runner on the tailgate. Other emblems were already plasti dipped a while back.
Finally, I added a emblem to the middle of my grille. Also decided to paint the horns red while I had the grille off. Can't really see them sadly as the mesh is to thick. But if you get up close they definitely show through.
Woke up to leave for school this morning to find a puddle of power steering fluid under the truck. Backed the truck out of the garage to find I had lost all power steering, guess it is time to order my new rack. Knew the day was coming, just was hoping it would hold through till christmas break. Now I get to drive my mom's 2003 Sequia!
Oh no, that is no fun. Check out 1sttoyotaparts.com or camelbacktoyota.com if you are going to be staying OEM. Also plan on getting an alignment when you are done, look for a firestone (who i use) they have a lifetime alignment for about $120 if you can find a coupon or something.
Also the job should be somewhat easier because you don't have that pesky front diff to deal with!
Also if you haven't done the LBJs yet it might be a good time to do so, you are only 4 bolts away from replacing it.

Just ordered the steering rack, went with a brand new one for $336.00. Comes with a 3 year warranty! Also just ordered a daystar 1" leveling kit for the front. Dad will know I purchased it once its on the truck already!!!

That will be pretty sweet. Post up a pic when you get the leveling kit installed.

Ahh great color dude, not to many built with our color! thats a pretty slick antenna as well, if it werent for my cbi ditch light mounts being in the way i would go that route.
What do you mean by your CBI ditch light mounts being in the way? Ive been looking into them but I wasn't sure what you would do for an antenna if it was in the way? A little insight please?
