I just recently purchased a 2001 T4R with high miles but a new transfer case and tranny... The truck has progressively shown more of a sputter and hesitation during acceleration the more I drive it. The dealer said that it didnt have this problem until he ran it out of gas. I am assuming that it is the fuel filter and will be changing that tomorrow. However I am not really sure what else it may be and any input or advice from other 3rd gen guys would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! This is my only vehicle and i have to get it running right as soon as possible.:hail:

So your vehicle is at the dealer right now?
no i have it in the driveway. it is sputtering and not responding very well under any kind of acceleration.

I think he is referring to the dealer he bought it from. Do you have an engine light on giving you a misfire code?
