Aftermarket rear bumper and rear suspension?
I finally pulled the trigger on a 4x innovations rear bumper. So excited It's got the tire carrier, hi lift carrier, table, and jerry can mount.
So far I haven't been able to find my answer with search so here I go..
I've got the 3" toytec/eibach front coilovers and I'd like the back to match as close as I can get. Obviously rear bumpers are heavy, so I'm going to have to replace the springs and shocks. I am debating between the OME 861's or the toytec superflex with extended shocks (which apparently sit at 3.75" unless you have 200lbs.
Q 1) Anyone have experience matching to the toytec/eibach?
Q 2) anyone know the weight of my rear bumper w/ specs? How much does yours weigh?
Q 3) what shocks and springs did you go with with your rear bumper? How much lift do you have?

Do some research on OME861. I run those with my 4x bumper.
That's what most of us end up running with heavy aftermarket bumpers. It seems most people do not like the superflex coils because they don't hold up to the weight, even if Toytec says they do.
Not sure how much it weighs, but I'd guess something like 150lbs. I know when the Fedex guy dropped mine off he had to come to the door and ask if another man was there because he wasn't going to be able to get it out himself. It's really heavy, but also extremely stout.
Not sure what my lift specs are inch wise, and it's best to go off hub to fender. Go to the first page of my build, and scroll down to the part about suspension. I linked my install and review of the OME861s there which has my hub to fender measurements.

OEM FJ80 Land Cruiser rear shocks. There's lots of info about them too on this site.

don't have the 4x innovations rear bumper but do have a rear bumper with swingout (but i did use the 4x innovations swingout hinge). i had the 890s and completely empty i was ok. as soon as i added a rtt or any weight i had rear sag. went to the 861s and could not be happier. rides smoother and handles the weight. i have some rake when completely empty but that is not often and i plan on making some storage drawers in the next month or 2
i'm running the fox 2.0 shocks and like the combination

So after doing some research on 861's I found his thread: ome 861s 6" lift? and picture below. Basically the guy installed 861 with no bumper and got a 6" lift. With only 150lb bumper...am I gonna be close t that?? Seems insane right?

I carry a bunch of weight all the time - dual swing w/ full size spare, high lift, co2 tank, gas can (usually empty) and a box with straps/recovery stuff. On roof rack I have a box with all my tools crammed in and another box with 2 cv axles, a starter, an alternator, 5 quarts of engine oil, 3 quarts of gear oil, grease, etc. Have front Tundra TRD coils on Tundra struts at position 2, and just switched out the rear springs from 890's (which made me about .25" butt down) to Superflex (which made me about .5" butt up). I will see how much they settle.
I figured that I will go up one step at a time and Superflex was next step. If they settle I will sell them and go to 861's

I would echo all the same info that
@ Unner
has provided. I would say a healthy majority of the people running heavy rear bumpers tin 861 coils and LC shocks.
I think doing something like trying to keep it level would be a bit like trying to hit a moving target. If you pick something that starts off level it will end up sagging with time and added weight.
I think brand new, 861s, LC 8 or 9 wraps, and Superflexes start out with a fair amount of lift. But even 861s will settle a little bit. But 861s seem to be the most consistent with weight, over time. I just don't know a lot of members that have the 4X bumper with the Superflex coils.
More importantly, did you order your SS body mounts yet?

Without going custom, 861s, in my opinion, are the only option. Nothing else will hold the weight without riding like ass.
With my tent, all my camping gear, bumper, etc. the rear of my 4Runner never sagged, or rode like garbage. Even with my wife and both the dogs sleeping in the tent, those springs held solid.

What about the toytech superflex springs. They are made for 3" lift with 500lbs and are a progressive rate for maintaining ride quality. I believe, 3.75" stock, 3.5" 200lb+, 3.25" 350lb+, 3" 500lb+. Something like that.
Edit:
Just saw the other two superflex suggestions, so I guess I echo those. I'll let you know first hand when I install the ones laying on my garage floor!

They don't hold weight. Ask me how I know!
I to run ome861. Although my rear bumper isn't as heavy as others. But with storage box in the back. It adds up quickly.
To have little more rake while loaded. I added OME 10mm + OME5mm spacers per each side. I like it much we better now.
Having icon CDC lets me adjust the softness. Which to me that helps with ride quality.

I have the Shrockworks rear bumper with the tire carrier gate & Jerry can. For better or worse, I went with the superflex coils and shocks in the Toytec boss package. With the toytec kit installed and without the heavy bumper, it was definitely oversprung and stiff-bouncy. With the bumper and wheel on the back, and the Sonoran Steel panhard bar, I find the ride is a good as it was before. (The adjustable panhard bar certainly seemed to help get rid of the left-right motion over bumps.) With the shrockworks bumpers on the back and front (and winch), the back remains still a bit higher than the front, but I have been riding on this setup only for a few months... Hopefully the springs are settled in by now; we shall see. My front coilovers are adjustable, and I would not mind lowering the front another 1/4" to compensate if need be. I was looking for a 2" lift overall anyhow, nothing radical.
EDIT:
I just measured the current height to the base of the frame (front & back, left and right) and compared those measurements to what I took before all the mods, am 3" higher all the way around.
