3 of the 4 main ones work, plus each switch on the corresponding doors. I tried the 5 minute, 5 second reset, but either did something wrong or it is something else. I will try again tomorrow.

Has anyone ever just had 1 switch that actually was a bad switch and can just the one be replaced?
Unfortunately, this is the 3rd gen section. So the information only pertains to 3rd gens 1996 to 2002. Might have in the 5th gen section...

Thanks Brillo.

I actually did find another place where some folks posted a solution. I am pretty sure it must be in a 5th gen place because the fix worked.

This one was to Use the switch on the actual door and put the window down, then hold the switch down for 10 seconds. At this point, the driver's switch for this door began to work again.

This should reset the switch module. I had to do it on mine after I left the dome light on for a few weeks and drained the battery.
Looking through older posts and came across this. Will this work for a 2005 4runner also? The windows will work intermittently from their respective window controls. However they all work without issue from te drivers panel. For example most of the time my passengers will be able to roll down their window but I will have to roll it up for them. Or sometimes it will be in reverse where I will have to roll it up for them.
