So glad I replaced those things. I think after getting them out they were more worn than I thought, one of them felt fairly gritty and both were actually tighter than the OEMs. Don't know if there is a difference in construction that would account for that but not interested in finding out. Also one of them had a mismatched bolt in it so this was obviously not a professional job and who knows if they were torqued properly or possibly even overtorqued which could have led to the bolts shearing (the whole reason I escalated this repair was after running into another 3rd gen on the trail who was telling me to replace the moogs after he had the bolts shear off).
