so i have used camelback, mcgeorge and if I can wait i will use armiyama...but this guy....sells only toyota parts...so it appears ....is cheaper than anyone else...sometimes only a few pennies on a part....but his quote to me the other day , with shipping saved me a lot over all others....not going into details or lists.....but im doing a lot of major work this summer....his quote...including insured shipping saved me about 125.....it adds up. thats a few beers and burgers.
but is he legit...his invoices and quotes look like a dealer....but dealer name is blocked out...any of you guys delt with him ?
joe joe.....if your here reading this...who are you and what dealer are you ?

He's legit. Lots of people buy from him. He's very active on Facebook. A dealer in the Palm Springs area fulfills his orders. He works directly with Toyota. I've spoken with him on the phone. He's a decent dude and I have not heard one person complain about him.

I can confirm that Joe Joe is a legit seller. I have used him 2 or 3 times now for parts and gotten exactly what I needed.
The other place I like to buy from is Partsouq.com - If you have time to wait, you can save even MORE.
The Frt Diff Actuator for an 01/02 is over 400 dollars retail. I was able to get it for under 275 shipped from Partsouq.

I buy all my OEM from him. He doesn't charge shipping and prices are at cost. If anything he loses money helping people out.

No one is in business to loose money... he has margin in there that allows him to operate, or get some kind of kickback for volume from suppliers.
Either way, nice to see someone out there that isn't gouging.

I mostly pull all my toyota parts from my local dealer. I have been buying parts off them for almost 30 years.
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
I use my local dealer as they will handle wrong parts issues.
Their pricing is decent, and I have been buying so long the manager and assistant manager know me.
Granted, it's sometimes a pain to get over to it as it was 30 minutes away. We have a good relationship though.
I know some people use several online dealerships as well.

His real name is Joseph Hudspeth (or Lundberg).
I asked him for prices on some stuff, while I was waiting on him to get back to me, I did my own research and found the parts cheaper than he could supply them from Toyota.
Other stuff that’s come to light are previous felonious charges that ‘Joe Joe’ has; shoplifting <950; stalking; firearms possession by a felon; false imprisonment; and embezzlement. (You can see the records.)
(All of which seems to be swept under the rug {deleted} by admins/mods in that group. He was also kicked out of a Tundra or sequoia group for sprouting BS about parts.)
Not saying people can’t clean themselves up; but his attitude; not really knowing what he’s talking about when it comes to some parts; and being able to get them cheaper makes sure I stay away from him.

I was tempted to use him last year when I was looking for an OEM '01 new trans. He sent me an invoice from some dealer out west with virtually no details.
No idea if there was shipping, taxes or other fees involved and no response to my repeated emails.
My momma taught me long ago, if in doubt walk away.
I did and am very happy to have dealt with Yota1 instead, not perfect but at least they answer a phone call. Luck all.

My personal experience has been 50/50. I ordered a Valve Cover Gasket set, and it was definitely cheaper than my usual local dealer that gives me a pretty decent discount. However, when I needed a Front Diff actuator, he was very rude when I asked him if he had ever heard of Partsouq.com - They had the diff actuator for 100 dollars less, shipping included, than any online source.
"There's no way that's Toyota OEM Part" "They can't sell for less than dealer cost"... blah blah. Well I got the Diff Actuator from Partsouq, and it was an OEM Part, in OEM Packaging, with the correct stamps, etc.. If it was a counterfeit, it was damn good.
Would I use him again? I don't know. I have a pretty solid deal with the local dealer that hosts the car show, so I generally just go there and pay the little bit extra.
