Exactly.. What are you after as I only changed the transmission input seal when I had my transfer case out.. The rest of the seals you can get to externally except for if you have to split the cases and I believe that is is Toyota FIPG

I was just wanting to replace those seals I can't get to normally. I have the trans in and out seals. I guess I'll hit the dealer up for the transfer case input and call it good.

That would be the input shaft. As you get get everything else from the outside except if you have to split the cases. as the 3 other seals are all easy to get to from the outside (2) output seals and the shifting knob seal. :-)

1996 4 cylinder 5 speed.

This may help you on your quest...:-)

I received the slave cylinder and picked up the flywheel bolts at the dealer. I'm waiting on my rear main seal and crank sleeve. I was reading through yota shop's clutch guide and it says that the spring side of the clutch faces the pressure plate on the 3rz and the springs face the engine on the 5vz. Is this correct? I didn't pay attention when I pulled it off.

I also found the flywheel torque to be 19ft/lbs plus 90 and 14ft/lbs on the pressure plate. Hopefully I'm driving this thing by Sunday.

wrong throwout bearing...

I'm looking over the throwout bearing and it looks to be the wrong one.

The clutch and pressure plate assembly also look taller than my old when viewed from the side.

I'm assuming the "t/m" on the clutch disc faces the transmission. My old clutch disc is labeled flywheel side..

Did I get the wrong part or do I just get the release bearing from the dealer?
The clutch kit I got is Aisin ATY16070-SS; 167136-MVA

I do know the v6 clutches are different and I believe go in backwards to what is normal orientation.

How are you getting so many wrong parts?

Oh boy... Well when using eBay and amazon you really have to watch as lots of the parts are not genuine. You really have to watch.

Now there are some good sellers out there. However, there are way too many that are not and some of them pedaling counterfeit.

With these parts for this project. You get the parts from oem or oem mfg as nothing worse then you having to do this again because the parts are junk..

As always its your call.. :-)

Yeah hey I 100% agree. The parts I got were Aisin but they were not in the original manufacturers box. I got a good clutch set from Yotashop. Its all back together and I'm back on the road. No leaks or funny noises. No left over parts lol. Clutch is much smoother and lighter than before. I thought my engine oil leak was the oil filter housing but its soaked again so I have to chase that down. I have to say it was very satisfying to feel the trans fall into the pilot bearing and slide home.
