I have some of the originals. It’s a nice idea and pretty handy. For a while I had some small storage bags hung off them too.

Cool design, I'll have to load up some PETG and try it out.

But aren't there holes in the seats when they're folded down where you insert the headrests?

they also work in 70 series LC

I had to change the design a bit to reduce weight, speed print time and get the 5 hp boost of said design. still works great.

With a drill bit they do ;)

some little grooves to capture generic plastic bag handles would be a great addition!

My SR5 has them. Maybe it’s a year thing. Mine’s ‘99.

however my 2000 lim has them. so don't know maybe one of those things they just added at some point? or SR5 trim and above?

Maybe it's 1999 thru 2002. I know my 1997 and 1998 do not have those. I need to check my 01 sport

Yup headrest holes were introduced in 99 on all models. That's what I saw when I was shopping for my 3rd gen. On that note does anyone know if the 99+ back seats are interchangeable with 98-? Would love to have those headrest holes on my 98. Only trick is I'm also not sure the 99+ upholstery would match (I actually really love the retro feel of my 98 upholstery).

The lower cushions would bolt in. If you want to retain your upholstery then just swap the covers. All you need are hog rings and the pliers to install them. Seatbacks I have heard are different bolt patterns depending on years, but I wouldn't be sure.

I would say the seats are interchangeable as the chassis are the same from 1996 to 2002 [except for bumpers and the added center body mount in 1997] I think they added one pillar support too.

As that's what the collusion repair manuals show.

I just swap the entire seats.

If anyone is making these I would be interested in buying a set.
