High Clearance bumpers that aren't Coastal

I am very interested in some high clearance bumpers, though I do not like Coastal. Do we have any other options? Can't do Ngyuen, either; I need a hitch.

I swore I remembered seeing some others, though I cannot remember nor find them via searching.

Thanks, guys.

Front, rear, or both? If front do you need a winch?

Rear - dirt-cheap, in-stock, minimalist tube bumper with a non-DOT-rated 2.5" hitch receiver (Trail Gear Rock Defense) or a full-blown plate unit with one or 2 swingouts (maybe 4XInnovations or the SRQ/True North Fab )? If you can weld there are more options to get just what you want.

This T4R.org Bumper List thread may still have relevant info (Ignore Shrockworks as they are OOB): Bumper List (Updated)

Edit - that thread is pretty much dead.

Are 4xi’s high cut? I am very seriously considering them as they are priced very fair and close to me. I can’t weld but have a welder friend so I am okay with DIY kits.

And yep, sad that thread’s dead. I used to look at it all the time ~10 years ago.

Also, there’s a user on here who designed bumpers and his profile pic is a tractor; anyone know off the top your head?

Not that I know of. I mentioned them because they are the opposite of an enclosed plate bumper with all those options. I needed cheap clearance with a receiver for my bike rack. They are not everyone's cup of tea, but all my taste is in my mouth. I got free shipping on a BF sale and it was $550 landed (unpainted). It did appear to be welded on a Monday morning or after lunch on a Friday, however I use 4XI's way-overkill 3-piece skids. They were a good company to deal with but I have never seen their bumpers in person (or knew what I was looking at, more likely). Timmy's BBQ had every imaginable part on people's rigs.

Edit - don't sleep on a purchase too long.......you can't assume these fabs will be around in another 10 years! I have burned myself waiting a couple times.

They’re about as close as you can get without having to cut the quarter panels. I love mine. Fantastic build quality, fit great, and very strong.

I’d no idea. I thought they looked pretty big. That makes me thinking about going with them more.

I also love the fact that they are the only ones with a DOT rated and tested rear integrated hitch.

I mean they could probably take another inch off and still keep the same strength but they’re definitely tighter than the factory bumper and a hell of a lot stronger.
