Good stock chrome bumpers for my 99'?
Hi, I need to replace both front and rear chrome bumpers on my 99' SR5. Is there a decent aftermarket brand you guys are going with? I checked a few online dealers and they were out of stock of the OEM bumper.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks, yeah there's a bunch of different ones online, all around $125 looks like. Will just have to roll the dice and see how they turn out I guess. Thanks.

My wife was rear ended in the SR5. I went with Rock Auto chrome bumper. Definitely cheaper made than OEM but it was cheap and it bolted right on. Almost two years later and it's still holding up fine.

Looked up mine. Put on in 02_28_2019. Milage was 249717.. now 291k. Granted I am in the rust belt. I take a photo of it. My rear bumper is a rock auto one. I believe I picked the best one they had for chrome. For what it was its not horrible. I just wish they make a better aftermarket one with a thicker chrome plate...
EDIT:
What mine look like today.

Thanks everyone, I'll definitely look at the ones Rock Auto has. Appreciate it!

Another option is Certifit, if you are near one of their stores. Decent metal and good price, but I can't comment on the chrome since I ground it off and painted it graphite. Most items, including bumpers, they won't shjp. But they have stores all over the place, including Louisville but not Lexington.

This won't fix the cheapness of the aftermarket parts, but think about doing some preventative work by painting the backside or, even better, using something like POR-15. These bumpers rust from the inside out.

Dismantler for OEM
I live in CA and if you’re willing to spend the time, you can get OEM from a specialty dismantler for cheap. I recently purchased a complete rear bumper with mounting brackets and plastic for about $150.
It was more expensive to buy the aftermarket or OEM parts than the whole bumper.

Yes and I had it land sharked up to me. I had the dismantler send me various photos and assured it was perfect.
The first one wasn’t. It had rust. I sent it back on the spot. 1 day later another was delivered that was perfect.
Only charged me one delivery fee.

I used to pull alot of parts out of Rancho CA. Then the yards all went to the big car parts database.
So harder for me to pieces. Their website even changed. :[ I got a complete rear end, hitch, quarter panels evap box skids all freighter to PA. Those desert yards if the rigs are from that area are very clean...
