Can someone 3D print a cover for the gear shift indicator?

The part is far more expensive than it should be. I’m wondering if anyone out there can 3D print something that I can adhere to the top of my cracked gear indicator on the shifter.

If you’re talking about the clear plastic part that may be hard to do. Most prints are opaque with non glossy surface finish.

I don’t need it to be clear. Doesn’t even need to be illuminated. Just a simple print that I can double side tape on top of the cracked one.

in that case why not just cut out some plastic and put it over that instead?

you can remove the old indicator from behind, but since yours is broken you can just use a small flathead to pry it off

Found someone on Reddit that printed this for me. Fits great! Used a heat gun to shape the curved and glued it into place.
