My new 4runner, when the CC is engaged and approaching a hill I take the OD off, the car will lag for about 4 seconds and then take off. My other 4runners would not lag, this one does. It seems like the CC controller is delayed, hence the lag. I have adjusted the CC cable where it attaches to the throttle body, so there is not slack. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I would say your cc module or cable is about done. I have many 3rd gens and none of them do this.
The only other thing I can think of is your transmission kick down cable make need an adjustment.
What does the cc do with the ect pwr enabled?
