Steering rack play, too much? Also upper control arm question

I'm learning here. I have this video I filmed showing my steering rack bushings. Another person is turning the wheel back and forth lightly. Also the truck is on gravel. Is this too much play or is it ok?

My other question:
I have OME 883 coils in the front of my 2000 limited and I think it gave about 2.5 inches of lift. Rn I'm still running stock upper control arms, but I'm planning to go through and change my suspension bushings. Should I just change the uca bushings or just buy complete aftermarkets and install them? I've heard some say that 2" is not required but 3" does require new uca's. So what if I'm right in the middle?

I'm planning to use 265/75/16 tires if it doesnt look too bad.

Too much play. There should be no play. Yes you need upper control arms to correct caster with your lift.

No way should your steering rack have that much movement. Take a look at the video by Timmy the Toolman and order up a poly bushing kit from Whiteline or which ever supplier you favor.
I just did this replacement last week while installing new lower control arm assemblies. It’s fairly straightforward and you will notice a significant improvement.
