Help wiring oem foglight switch so it lights up when the truck is running

Hello,

I recently purchased some off-road lights. They came with wiring harness and relay. Im connecting this to a oem foglight switch with the little orange led.

There are 3 prongs on back of switch.

Top=Ground
Middle= Hot
Bottom= Out to relay

How do I wire this so that the little orange LED lights up when I turn on the truck? Right now, it lights up only when I flip the switch to turn on lights.

The aftermarket off-road lights switch wiring is Black, White, Blue

Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hmmm actually....

It might be possible if you wire the top and middle terminals the opposite way. Is that the switch Oznium sells?

From Customer Questions: Scion OEM Style LED Lighted Rocker

Q.I bought and installed this LED rocker switch. It looks great! It turns my lights on and off just fine.
But for some reason, the LED light on the switch always stays on, whether or not the switch is on or off.
What am I doing wrong?

A.Switch the two prongs that are connected to your power source and the positive wire on your lights.

This is a factory Toyota foglight switch.
Terminals
Top= Ground
Middle= Hot
Bottom= Relay/lights

So, I should move the middle white wire to top terminal (ground), and the top black wire to middle terminal hot?

Leave ground as-is and swap around the other two (relay/lights to middle and hot to bottom)

Thanks! I'll try that this evening and let you know if it works.

Ah, the good old Camry switch 00550-35976. Not the fanciest ( or cheapest ), but they get most jobs done and are well-made. I ordered 2 this afternoon.
