Engine sounds different after replacing belts

Anyone notice their engine sounds slightly different after replacing the drive belts? I replaced mine today and tensioned them to spec using a Krikit belt gauge. Now the engine sounds slightly different at idle to me. Almost like it's got a very slight whine. I know the old belts were too loose so I'm a little concerned I've got a pulley or something that can't handle the correct tension. But I can't hear or see anything when the hood's open. I can only notice it in the cab. I may just be losing my mind but I thought I'd see if anyone noticed anything similar when they did theirs.

It's possible you may be hearing a bearing or pully whine from the belts being tigher.

texadelphia, I am over 60, so its guaranteed I am losing my mind.

It could be the whine of new belts OR.... I would take my high end fancy mechanics stethoscope ( any 2' length of fuel line) and see if any pulley or idler is starting to screech.
