OK Wells heres the deal i lost all the keys for my 2000 4runner limited and unfortunately for me my car has the transponder security system, so i have no keys or remotes to unlock the doors...( well i went to the dealer they made me a key from the vin but it didnt even have a transponder in it.pointless just helps me get it towed around haha ) .....and i know you cant get them made at any old locksmith or i have to go the Stealership then they swap the ecu and make new keys for like $300 or something. I was wondering do i have any other options, ive talk to locksmiths who "say" they can reflash the ecu and make the keys, but i dont know if can trust them. So basically i was just wonder what you guys think????????
