Hi everyone,
i have been reading up alot on 3rd Gen 4Runners as id like to purchase one and cant seem to find much on gotchas or things to look for when buying one used. I.E. things that may need to be replaced early or are known issues, TSIBS that should have been taken care of etc.
Your knowledge and help would be greatly appreciated as i found a nice 97 4Runner for $3500 that i will be looking at this weekend. This one has got about 171k on it and id really like to know some basic questions to ask and a few big ticket things to look at before handing over the cash.
97 Toyota 4runner SR5- solid truck, 4WD, sunroof, new tires
Any thoughts all?
