What's my next mod gonna be?
Hey folks,
I've got a few things on my list of things to do, but don't know which one I want to do first!
I can:
A) Buy matching full size 33" Tire and Procomp Wheel
B) Buy some L.E.D Tails
C) Buy the upgraded Headlights

I went to "Used Tire King" and got myself a spare with the same tread pattern as my Maxxis Bighorns (Summit Mud Dawg) and had it mounted to my factory spare rim for $35 total. To bad you don't live down here because they had a few more, but I'll bet you could easily find a used 285 up there somewhere - probably even a Bighorn.

That would be a good option, but I'd like to get another Procomp Wheel. I have a winter set of tires in the 32" variety, which is the spare I have on the back right now. If I'm going to get another wheel, I might as well get the matching Procomp for the summer months! Thanks for the info on the Mud Dawgs!

It's not on my current to do list......still in love with my current height, and don't really want to tackle the body lift.......

Not sure what you mean by "fluted headlights", but I'm just running the stock 98 lights. Oh yeah, and a rock chip on the Passenger side lens.....

fluted means there are those lines going up and down the headlights as opposed to the 99+ headlight that dont have flutes on the headlights. 99+ lights look cleaner btw.
fluted

Thanks for the details man! I agree with you regarding the 99+ lights looking better!

Personally, I'd say go for some LED tail lights! They made my 4Runner look more "current" and they cost me around $140-ish for a pair. The 99+ headlights would also be another really good "for looks" upgrade.

I'd definitely go with the head lights. It will be a huge difference that you will notice every time you walk up to your 4runner and a huge cosmetic upgrade. It is also an definite gateway to doing an HID retro.
