Front End Noise when I go over bumps

Hey guys my front end makes this really weird noise when I go over big bumps. It sounds there there is change somewhere in the front end and when I go over a speed bump it sounds like someone is shaking up the change. I checked the upper arm bolts cause I have head those come undone on my old Tacoma and before they did it make a change sound also but the bolts are tight. Anyone have an idea what this could be? Thanks

Possibly inner tie rods, or the unit they connect to that goes into the steering rack. You can test those be taking the boots off and wiggling the steering wheel back and forth while looking at them. Mine have play in them. Which unfortunately means I need to get my steering rack rebuilt or replaced.

I just replaced my inner tie rod as I had a rattle clanging noise when I went over a bump. With the car in the air I could push the wheel and feel movement. I would check for that if a visual inspection reveals everything is connected underneath.

Check your front body mounts. I had this same problem and realized there were no nuts on the front body mount bolts. Picked some up and tightened 'em down, don't have the problem anymore. You may just need to tighten yours.

No rattling here. But, whenever I drive down the road slowly with my window down I hear little squeeks. The squeeking is quite prevailant whenever I go over speed bumps. I just had my shocks, struts, and coils replaced on my front end because my Runner was leaning over a half an inch to one side. I don't know what it is. I figure it's because the truck is 12 years old and, like me, it has its share of grunts and growns.

Same noise here man . I believe its that flimsy protector that covers the fuel lines ? underneath the front , just before they go upwards towards the engine . Its a harmonic vibration . That noise drives me up the friggin' wall !!

Well... I FINALLY found the source of my annoying rattle/sound. That's been driving me crazy for a year or so now . I did front brakes yesterday and on the passenger side , the part that's known as the anti rattle spring ( Page 9-7 of the Haynes manual , photo 3.5C ) came unhooked from the bottom pad retaining pin for some reason . It's been doing its vibrate , rattle and annoy the **** out of me thing because of that ! New pads , the spring put back in its proper place and a good long test drive and the noise is gone ! I have read quite a few posts here about 3rd Gen owners having an annoying rattle underneath , maybe check it out .

Cheers

I had a bad rattle a couple weeks ago, thought my front end was going to fall off. Turned out to be my ANTI-RATTLE SPRING!!
Easy way to check is to break while running over something that usually makes the rattle sound, because the pads will be engaged it won't rattle. If it does then more then like
Y it isn't the break pad spring
