Before you start throwing a bunch of money at mods, what is the maintenance situation of the truck? Has it had all the necessary maintenance needed for the mileage/age? That's what i'd look at first, then go from there.

Not sure if yours came stock with 225 size tires but i just went from 225's to 265's on my 15" rims and i LOVE the look. Added about an inch of height and they stick out from the wheel wells real nice. Take a look. Also i added the bug deflector and window visors. I feel it adds a nice clean touch to any of these 4rs.

Don't mod it at all yet. Got through it and do all the maintenance first. Modifying it will just bring out any issues faster anyway. Make sure it's a solid base before you mod it. No point sitting high on 33's on the back of a flatbed.

Yea i picked it up with one owner ( an old ass woman) with only 48XXX on it. Its a 5 speed. It has larger tires but i don't have the size off the top of my head. But it will mostly be used for snowboarding and backpacking with plenty of wheeling. I also took the running boards off, they are black if anyone is interested.

That being said, I'd lift the truck using the Tundra and Landcruiser suspension stuff.....then when you need new tires.....get some bigger rubber! I waited a couple of weeks before getting my tires...and now use the small rubber for the winter.....

Hehe, same here man! Pretty much lifted mine for looks and the occasional light trail, but mostly for the look. Haha. I know that lifting can cause problems, etc. but I REALLY wanted to have the look and knew I wouldn't be satisfied without it. But yeah, as long as the truck is mechanically sound I would lift

For sure do a lift, then the bumper. I did mine the other way around, but only because some punk backed into my front end and his insurance blessed me with enough $$$ to get an ARB and a winch. That added weight caused some rubbing on 265 MT's for a while if I offroaded on hardcore mountain trails.

I say if you're happy with the size of the tires, then go lift for sure! Aftermarket bumpers look odd on a stock height Runner in my opinion. And the stereo is something you can piece together as you go along. In the end, just don't worry, we'll always find something for you to spend your money on.
