I've got a few pairs of oakley's, as well as a pair of cartier's, ray ban's, costa del mar's, and tag huer's. Alot of people still rock oakleys though there still one of the most popular brands out there. As well Oakley specializes in creating lenses that not only offer high def. polarization, but also stop fast moving projectiles such as bullet casing ejecting from hand guns rifles etc.. (they spec there lenses to stop any projectile traveling up to 102 mph...small moving projectiles not anything big by any means). as to why there one of the most popular selected sunglass/protective eyewear warn buy some of americas top local law enforcment and military members. If you ever spend time at an out door shooting range look around at what sunglasses guys are wearing, i'd put money on it that you'll see alot of O's around everyones temple's. Oakley also has a great line of snowboading/skiing goggles, as well as a really awesome sporty clothing appearel line. So I choose to rock Oakley emblems because I'm a fan of what they support. I appriciated the company more when it's sunglasses/prescription eyewear division was on its on own, Its since been bought out by luxottica (which also owns gucci, prada, channel, i think ray ban, and there trying to buy maui jim.) luxottica also owns all of your lens crafters, sun glass huts, and similar retail stores. So unfortunatly when you buy from any of those stores or the brands i mentioned (including oakley now) your giving money to luxottica. Not sure if you noticed but Oakley used to have some really crazy ass designs of sunglasses michael jordan even drew up his own line of them called the oakley mars (google images) check out the "over the top" frame as well (for motor cyclists the "over the top" frame would sit inside your helmet. they had some creative designers back then for sure. Since luxottica bought them out; however, there designs have started to resemble other brands. If you ever go by a sunglass hut look through the gucci, prada's, and channels, and see if you dont find each frame to look almost like the other with just a few different rind stones and a different emblem lol. (p.s. my mom owns a private owned, designer sunglass/prescription eyewear store called Northlake Optical. Shes an optition and I wear glasses so eyewear is kinda in my blood lol)

Aha, so you removed the front swaybar but kept the rear? Getting some extended links for the back for those OW shocks?

pretty much, If i removed the rear sway completly im pretty sure my springs will def. pop out, without limit straps or something of that nature. I did a little searching when i was considering removing my sway bars and alot of guys had removed the front with happy travel gains and minimal added body roll(with stronger springs up front); however, the guys that had removed the rear said they didnt gain much extra travel over just adding extended links, and that the body roll was a bit much durring on road driving without the rear sway bar, plus the ones that left the rear out all added limit straps. I had the axles moving pretty good yesterday and all i can say is im extremely happy with my setup the extended links will be icing on the cake. All I need now is a locker in the rear and i wont look like such a noob trying to hop over those rocks lol. oh and i spoke with medic over at toyota120 he got my links shipped out last friday so i should see them pretty soon

Haha, he responded to my PM right away and i have a set ordered. Hopefully these will add some flex to the rear. I thought that my billies were limiting travel but the more ive been reading, it seems to be the stock links. Also, sounds like ill be pulling my front sb.

you'll def see some extra travel without the front sway bar. a rule of thumb on suspension though is that your shocks should NOT be your travel limiting factor so when you do switch over to the extended links chech your travel out with a floor jack. you should be able to find your extended length specifications for your shocks just adjust the link back to where your about 3/8" or so from full shock droop. you want your control links, pan hard bar, springs, sway bar link to take the weight of the axle at full droop not the shocks. same with full crush you want the weight of the vehicle on all the control links and springs and not bottoming out your shocks while doing it lol so just check it out to make sure. You shouldnt have anything to worry about really just dont let out the extended links to much.
