i agree with the first part (OEM is life), but if you don't know how long the boots have been torn, don't just reboot and regrease them. depending on how much grease has spewed out you don't know how worn out the interior parts are and how much dirt is in there. you'd be better off sourcing some OEM remans off ebay unless you know for a fact that they've only recently torn.
if you ever plan on wheeling your truck, please don't buy anything from autozone or o'reilly or napa or "premium OEM replacements" from your mechanic. it's all garbage. source: myself. i've had two "premium OEM replacements" blow up on me while wheeling.
