vsc abs light on dash turning tires to left

Odd one: when I turn the wheels all the way to the left backing up or going forward the vsc/abs light comes on and stays on. If I restart the engine, lights go out. Looked under the truck and there arnt any loose connections or danggling wires. Any insight??

How long has the vehicle been doing this?

It sounds like there's an issue with the wiring in either the driver's front or passenger's front wheel speed sensor wiring. By restarting the vehicle you're soft resetting the ABS module as DTCs related to wheel speed and such tend to be a little more flexible than other DTCs (i.e. they self clear with simply cycling the key, where as others need to be cleared with a scantool typically.)
 
Thank you for your help, not an easy fix but at least I can start with this area and move forward. Thanks again for your insight!
