I used some oil resistant rubber from Grainger:

GRAINGER APPROVED Rubber,Vinyl,1/8 In Thick,12 x 24 In - Rubber Sheets and Strips - 1MXU1|360-1/8B - Grainger Industrial Supply

"Oil-resistant Vinyl Rubber, Plain Back, 1/8" Thk, 12" X 24", 80a Durometer "

Part number on grainger.com is: 1MXU1

I think I put around $20 bucks into it (I think 2 sheets did it??? 1 sheet is ~ $11.50 ).




Also, people are cutting up Rubbermaid trash cans, or using trimmable floormats.




According to Preacher35:

"4WDFTW made templates for these pieces."

"The parts that you are referring to are the front fender apron seal (smaller piece) and front fender splash shield (larger piece). The part #'s are as follows:
LH FAS: 53736D
LH FSS: 53886H
RH FAS: 53735B
RH FSS: 53886H (yes, same as the left hand)"

New here..
any chance that the templates are similar to Prado KDJ120 (03-09)??
if not - any ideas where would I find matching templates? I looked everywhere

Thanks for the information and templates. I just replaced all of my fender liners today. Used this rubber:

Buna-N, 1/16" x 24" x 24". One sheet is enough for all four pieces and I was abel to re-use the fasteners. Quality feels better than stock. Should last another 10 years!

1/8 was too thick for me, I believe.

Yes, I got the 1/16", is plenty strong and works with stock fasteners. The pictures looks thicker than it is, but 1/16" is thicker than the stock rubber.

saw the whole set with clips for 39 bucks, seems fair enough, no reviews though to be sure the material is good.

Just found these that are cheaper and better than stock.

Was going to make em and then figured for a few dollars more I can same myself the time and effort.

I’ve ordered the product from RadRubber for both my old 3rd gen and now 4th gen. Quality is top notch but shipping has been slow lately. Ordered mine on 3/6 and they just shipped this week for arrival early next week.

Just another data point, I bought these from eBay for $16.50 for a complete set with fasteners. They fit perfectly and seem to be of good quality.

Glad to see a good inexpensive non DIY alternative. I’d probably go this route today if I needed it. Original DIY ones are still doing ok as far as I know.
