4Runner Hybrid
Who has one?
I thought I might be the only one until I saw this thread: Blind Squirrel brewery build
I don't have a pic of mine to add but people's comments about my hybrid are a hoot!

My favorite comment about my hybrid came from a salesman at a Toyota dealership. I stopped to pick up some parts and a salesman came running over to me saying "Is that really a hybrid?"
Me: "You sell these, you know there's no such thing!"
Him: "Now I know who to blame for me losing a customer"
Me: "How so?"
Him: "I had a customer come in and wanted to buy a 4Runner Hybrid. I told him there's no such thing and he said 'BS, I see a white one around town all the time!"
Me: Grinning like a fool
Him: "The customer stormed out and said he's never step foot in the dealership again."
Me: Laughing and laughing and laughing some more.
Mission accomplished!

I never hesitate to park it in the fuel efficient vehicle spots.
My fiance was driving it to class a couple years ago and had a girl ask her if it was really a hybrid. She explained that I had done a hybrid conversion so now it got 35 mpg...

I don't understand why fuel efficient vehicles get to park close. Shouldnt they have to drive the furthest since their carbon impact is less?

YUP..NOTICED +12MPG INCREASE WHEN I SLAPPED On the hybrid sign, its hard to keep a straigth face, when folks come around to ask if your truck is hybrid, and how they wished they knew hybrid was an option on 4runners before they purchased thier truck!

Hmmm y'all should add a Diesel decal to compliment your Hybrid one and the world may stop turning... But may be worth the fun!

Haha, yeah that's mine. The comments from people are awesome, mostly at the gas stations. Although there has been more than one occasion when people have me roll my window down at a stop light so they can ask. Who knew that $6 and a month wait for it to come from Thailand would be well worth it. Pretty funny.

This is the best thread I've seen in a long time. Copying is the greatest form of flattery, I will be doing this.

Probably not, but some would question why you revived a 3 year old thread...
