Eibach Pro-Truck Shocks, any experience with them?

Ive been on this set up for 3-4 months now and they work great! I have a trail model.

I basically run over whatever I want and it handles all roads perfectly. The ride is nice and firm without being punishing - Great handling dynamics as well. A great value and worth the install. Thanks!
 
rumor has it that the BOSS line from Toytec are actually re-valued Eibachs. But the fact they started with Eibachs has to mean something!
 
Eibach being a spring manufacture... I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make these shocks and just private lable/oem them from someone else.

I'm not saying they are... but considering they have a business relationship with Bilstein, its probably more likely that it was made by them.

Similar to the Bilstein 6112, from what I read the springs on that coilover are made by Eibach...

But if the price is right, and the Sport shock is valved better than the 5100 we might have a winner.
 
Bumping this up. I am on the fence between these and the 5100's. Has anybody else had any experience with them? I will be replacing my springs also I'm just not sure which spring to use either.

I don't think eibach makes springs for the lift kit, could be wrong though. I think they engineered the shocks to work with the stock springs.
 
any updates

Hi guys

currently I have a daystar 2.5/1.5 lift but want to upgrade. Been talking to wheelers and toytec. Pretty much decided on the eibach 620# springs with the eibach pro truck sport shocks up front (assembled on strut mounts for me). For the rear was thinking a wheeler's T12 with eibach pro truck sport shocks, or just thinking of keeping my current 1.5 daystar spacer and stock shocks. I have a demello bumper (130lbs approx) that I'll be installing in the next week.

Would anyone recommend anything else? Contemplated the OME 2885 springs which are 590 lbs but toytec won't install the eibach shocks on them as OME only recommends their shocks with their springs.

Any personal experience would be muchly appreciated!

The more I look, the more I find that the Toytec Boss kit is rebranded Eibach shocks and springs.

But it seems Toytec picked and chose which shock/coil they wanted from Eibach front and rear to put the Boss kit together. Looking at the Eibach website for the 4Runner they don't have the same front/rear kit as Toytec does. Toytec put together different Eibach components.

This XREAS on the 97k mile '08 V8 is nice, I like it. Trouble is it can't be lifted unless spacers, that won't work for me. I think I'll go with the Boss kit again on this '08, same as the '07.
