Transmission Fill Plug

Ive looked everywhere and it seems like everyone's picture is different so can someone confirm with me that this is my fill plug for transmission fluid? It's (I think) a 24mm plug on the passenger side of the transmission

That is it. I would spray it with some penetrating oil before trying to take it out if you've not done it recently. I tried to get mine out and ended up rounding off the bolt... Had to buy an extractor socket and breaker bar to get it out. It was a really bad day... Thought I was going to have to bring it to the shop to get someone with real tools to get it off...

I doused it with penetrating oil for a few days and tried again. Bought new plugs from the dealer and installed them during the job.

Ah thank you very much for clarifying. I'm not very skilled when it comes to this stuff so I was just hoping I had it right. I accidentally drained it trying to change my oil. Just a stupid mistake that could have been prevented had I used my brain a little more.

It actually came off really easy. I'm wondering how long ago someone checked it Ive only had this runner for a year and a half.

You are not the first person to make that mistake. Now you know.

Do you have a dipstick? I thought all 4.7's are sealed as BW mentioned.

I think that a 15/16ths is a better fit. I used a 24mm the first time I had to fill the tranny and it seemed to feel kinda loose. I think after reading some other threads I decided to get a 15/16th and try the fit and I remember it feeling like a better fit..... Just something to think about maybe...

The 2003 model year had a dipstick, all others were Sealed and used WS ATF.

Do you have the part number for the fill plug? My local Toyota dealer has ordered me three different plugs, but none of them are the fill plugs. They keep ordering me plugs that are way too small.

9034118059 appears to be the fill plug but I'm not 100% certain.
